We kindly ask you to read through our Terms & Conditions carefully before making a purchase. By placing an order with Avani African Décor, you are entering a contract with us to fulfill your order, which confirms you have fully read, understood & agree to all our Terms & Conditions.

We may, from time to time, update or amend these Terms and Conditions, to ensure compliance with the law or our business requirements, without notice.

In no circumstances will we be liable for any loss whatsoever caused incurred by you by any action or inaction of Avani African Décor in relation to these Terms & Conditions.

Ordering

Placing an order with Avani African Décor is simple. Just choose your basket & if applicable select the quantity & size from the available drop down menu boxes. Once you have finished with your shopping click “Add to Cart”. Orders are fulfilled & sent out for delivery once we have received your payment.

If we do not have your size or quantity in stock please contact us for availability.

We will not accept orders placed or for delivery outside of the United Kingdom, please contact us for more information.

Payments

We accept all major credit cards and use a secure server powered by Squarespace, our payment provider is Stripe. All card payments are subject to authorization by your card issuer. We take payment immediately.

All prices are automatically listed in GBP.

As part of the Website checkout process, you will be asked to enter your payment details. All compulsory fields must be completed. By completing your payment details, you confirm that the credit or debit card being used is yours. We will not store any of the personal financial information you supply during checkout, except for the purpose of processing your order. Your card details will be saved through our payment provider Stripe, where only the last 4 digits will be visible - this helps prevent against fraud and helps with any payment issues.

Returns

We want you to love our baskets as much as we do, that’s why if you are not completely satisfied we will be happy to accept returns within 7 days of delivery (UK) providing the following conditions are met:

- Please contact us within 48hours of delivery

- All shipping costs are non-refundable

- Sale items are non-refundable

- Refunds will only be issued once we have received the item

- We reserve the right to deny a returned item should it no longer appear salable or does not meet our Conditions of Return

Conditions of Return

- Buyers are responsible for return postage costs

- All items to be returned in its original condition & packaging including any posters / leaflets which came with the item

- Please ensure you wrap the item securely

- Please kindly include a note to why you have decided to return the item – this will help us to improve our business

- A return address will be sent to you when you contact us

Our returns policy does not affect your statutory rights

Lost or Stolen Parcels

We understand, things happen… if your delivery is lost or stolen we will do everything possible to assist you. However, we cannot be responsible for missing parcels if Avani can verify delivery to the shipping address.

Cancellation Policy

We don’t accept cancellations. If for any reason you decided to cancel your order before delivery please contact us.

If your order cancellation is accepted after contacting us, we will refund you minus the cost of the credit card processing fee of 1.5%

Sale Items

Items on Sale are non-refundable.

Basket Care

Please note all our baskets are handmade using natural material, therefore sizes / colours may vary slightly from basket to basket & from pictures.

To maintain the beauty of the basket, avoid contact with chemical cleaning products / alcohol, oil, exposure to high heat. Consist exposure to direct sunlight may change the colour of the natural materials over time.

Simple wipe clean our Avani baskets with a damp cloth or sponge, remove most of the moisture with a dry towel & leave to air dry naturally.
